DOCTORS DAY CELEBRATION
We celebrated DR Bidhan Chandra Dey’s birthday as National doctors’ Day and treated around 200 patients free of cost. We performed peripheral Neuropathy detection for 75 patients. Free medicine distribution like calcium, Analgesics, Antacid, Vitamin supplementation. We screened 110 patients for poor mental health. The event was media covered and A mass/Community education taught via distributing leaflets and speeches from specialist.
Skill development training for Healthcare workers especially in rural Bengal.
We organized 5 workshops and training programs for Rural medical health workers at Venue BASIRHAT, Kadamagachi, Rajarhat, Bolpur and Purba Midnapur(Chandipur). Our main purpose was to train them to identify acute medical emergency, provide first aid treatment/measures and refer to nearest hospital as early as possible. Total 120 rural health care workers were primarily trained how to suspect brain stroke patients and provide them first aid measurement at home or nearest clinic before h referring to hospital.
